Legally there is an employer notice poster that must be on display in the back, employee-only area of the business outlying workmen's compensation, minimum wage laws, and other requirements. These are available for purchase on most office-supply store websites. Additionally, dependent on location (state/municipality), a business license, occupation permit, sales tax license, or other permits may be required to be displayed.
