On September 3rd, we will be rolling out an update that fixes several outstanding issues with RQ. We are very excited about this launch and have been working tirelessly with the iQ Metrix team to facilitate these changes. There is a new training course on Cellairis University involved with these changes for employees at the store level to take, but for the most part it is just further streamlining workflow within what we were already using. There is also a newer and improved Bar-code book that must be downloaded and replace the old one. Here is a change log of what will be going live on September 3rd:
- Total Protection Promise
- The TPP will now prompt for an IMEI # when it is rung up that can be tracked by transaction.
- The TPP will now be rung up as an “additional” charge on top of the retail price of the accessories. This will help all back-end reporting issues in terms of COG's and will also further streamline the spiff program. As confirmation, the TPP is now ONLY sold with the Shell Shock. All cases in the system will be set to a default price of $29.99 (including Shout!), all Shell Shocks to $19.99, and all other screen protectors to $14.99.
- For example, the iPhone 6 TPP (retail of $99) will now be displayed as $49.02. $49.02 + $29.99 + $19.99 = $99.
- The new default TPP pricing is as follows:
- Spiffs
- All Spiffs are now based on sales alone and we will no longer be supporting the “tracking SKUs”. You will be able to set the $ amount per Spiff in your district. Default will be a $2 Spiff for TPP, $2 for a case, and $1 for any screen protector (Shell Shock or standard). This will fix an enormous amount of reporting and payout issues, as well as make the dashboard widgets function.
- If you sell a TPP, they will all add up – so the TPP will actually be a $5 spiff ($2+$2+$1). Keep this in mind when setting your Spiffs.
- PAW
- The PAW has been disabled and will no longer be an unnecessary step for employees. We are not losing any functionality by disabling it.
- By disabling the PAW, we are able to have prices on screen repairs assigned directly by the part SKUs. This will make changing prices even faster and easier.
- LCD Upcharge SKUs
- Because the PAW has been disabled, we have developed a simpler version for upcharging customers when the LCD is damaged on their iPhone. There are now 4 LCD Up-charge SKU's (iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5/5S/5C, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6+) that can have their prices easily and individually manipulated to follow market changes. They will default at current market pricing. They are located within the Repair Parts/Screens/iPhone category and in the new Bar-code Book.
- To track your recycles, you can just run a report of iPhone screens sold vs. LCD Up-charges sold to determine how many recyclable LCD's you should have.
- TPP Cases
- The “TPP Cases” category has been renamed to Classic Cases and have been moved under the Accessories category. They now should include the sample cases that some districts received instead of sample Shout! Cases so everything can be sold.
- RQ vs. RPM naming
- All RQ SKU names should now match the repairparts.me name
- Service Requests and Operations Tab
- Due to us no longer needing to use them, the Service Requests and Operations Tab have been disabled to encourage proper usage and workflow through the system. We will now be using the Sales Quote system that is outlined in the new Cellairis University Training. It’s so much easier and simpler!
- Auto Add
- Shout! Plates will now auto add with their respective cases, and bezels will now auto add with their respective iPad Digitizers to help with inventory control.
- Training
- There is a new LMS course called “Bringing a Device In and Out of Your Store” that your staff must complete before using the POS on September 3rd.
- Bar-code Book
- There is a new version of the bar-code book available on the LMS under 5.1.13. It needs to be printed and replace any current versions in your store.
